This educational app targets children ages 2-8, focusing on an engaging introduction to dinosaurs without requiring prior knowledge of the Jurassic World franchise. The app is thoughtfully designed to teach young learners about dinosaur names, body parts, and intriguing facts related to their sizes and behaviors.

Lessons

1. In Lesson #1, children can explore 18 different dinosaur species, including well-known varieties such as Tyrannosaurus rex, Velociraptor, and Stegosaurus. Each dinosaur session encompasses essential information such as the meaning of their names, correct pronunciation, size, dietary habits, fossil locations, and other fundamental details.

2. Lesson #2 introduces children to the various body parts of dinosaurs through an interactive teaching approach. By touching specific parts in a photo strip, children can see highlighted diagrams of the corresponding body parts. An audio feature provides proper pronunciation when a speaker button is activated, enhancing the learning experience.

Activity Set 1

Activity Levels #1 and #2 provide engaging dinosaur puzzles inspired by well-established Montessori materials:

• In the first puzzle activity, children identify a blinking dinosaur puzzle piece on a diagram. When they select the correct piece, it snaps into place accompanied by an audible announcement of its name.

• The second activity requires children to find the dinosaur puzzle piece that matches a displayed name. For pre-reading children, a feature allows them to touch the name at the top for auditory guidance in selecting the correct piece.

Additionally, there is a sorting activity that challenges children to categorize different dinosaur examples.
